MALAMI GIVES VERDICTS ON SUNDAY OGBOHO’S LEGAL BATTLE
The attorney General of the federation have gives final resolution on Sunday Igboho’s legal battle and its directions
The attorney general of the federation have predicted what will happen to Sunday Igboho both in the neighboring country where he was held for trial and his home country Nigeria.
The AGF said, “We’ll allow the law of a nation that was indeed breached takes its natural cause and then perhaps indeed thereafter bring him (Igboho) back home after the conclusion of the trial for the purpose of facing the Nigerian law that was accordingly breached.
“The position of things is that we are not interfering in aborting the existing prosecution in the foreign land.”.
These statement prescribed that Sunday igboho moght faces jail term in the Republic of Benin and Nigeria respectively. The embattled Yoruba nation agitator have been in detention for about six month now and there's no indications he may be released anytime soon.
